An Everton fan has gone viral after pulling off a ‘masterstroke’ prank for Liverpool’s Premier League title celebrations at Anfield on Sunday.

There was a full-on party in the city of Liverpool before and after the game, both inside and outside the stadium, as supporters celebrate the triumph.
Many Liverpool fans set off red flares – leading to smokescreens of their club’s colours – but there were quite a few blue flares seen going off too.
Blue is, of course, the colours of Liverpool’s Merseyside rivals Everton with one Toffees supporter managing to play a trick during Sunday’s title party.
The prank was reveale by @LesleyField5 on X, who posted on social media about how a fellow Everton fan purchase thousands of blue flares and change the packaging to make it look like they were actually red.
The Everton supporter manage to sell the secret blue flares to a number of Liverpool fans, who purchase them ahead of the game against Spurs.
‘My mates just texte me there,’ @LesleyField5 wrote on X. ‘He bought 10,000 blue flares and spent the last 4 weeks taking the blue labels off them and putting red labels on them. I hope he sells the f***** lot.’
It was poste on April 19, eight days before Liverpool’s match against Tottenham, in which the Reds only need a point to clinch the title.
It went viral on the day of the game when the blue flares were spotte on social media during Liverpool’s title celebrations.
