Ruben Amorim says Man Utd must ‘do better’ in one area after Bournemouth draw

Ruben Amorim says his Manchester United team must improve their attacking creativity after they were held to a 1-1 draw by ten-man Bournemouth.

It was another sluggish Premier League display from United, who almost เล่น UFABET ผ่านมือถือ สะดวกทุกที่ ทุกเวลา fell to another defeat after Antonine Semenyo’s strike had put the Cherries ahead in the first half.

United pushe for an equaliser after the break and were aided by the controversial sending off of Bournemouth striker Evanilson with 20 minutes to go.

But still, Amorim’s side faile to find a breakthrough until the sixth minute of injury time when Rasmus Hojlund poppe up with just his second league goal of the calendar year to rescue a point for the visitors.

The result continues United’s meagre league form which has seen them win just one of their last seven games in the competition.

And Amorim was under no illusions that his team had plenty to work on in an attacking capacity if they were to turn around their fortunes before the end of the season.

‘I think [we deserve a point]. In the first half we suffere with their high-intensity press, but we create chances,’ the Portuguese coach Match of the Day.

‘We had quite similar chances near the box with a lot of shots. I think we deserve at least one point if you look at the game.’

‘If you look at our last games, it’s always like this – we do something to help the opponent get an advantage. Then it’s really hard to score goals, but the players did really well to get at least one point.

‘We have the ability to push our opponents. There are small things I think we can do better.

‘We need to understand these moments better, but if you look at the 20 minutes [after Evanilson’s red card], we had situations to score, which is really important.’

Bruno Fernandes, meanwhile, said his team need to have more anger out on the pitch to better replicate the intensity with which they train.

‘We need to be have more anger than the defenders to get the ball,’ the United captain.

‘To get [the ball] first, you need to be focuse in everything you do in training. That’s what we have to do from now on. We should have done it already and we’ve doing it in training, but you need to do it in games.
